On Valentines Day, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz shot more than 30 people at a Florida high school, killing 17 of them.
School officials had expelled Cruz for bringing ammo to the school some months earlier. Cruz’s adoptive mother, a woman in her late 60s, died a few months ago. The adoptive mother’s supposed friend had taken Nickolas and his kid brother Zachary, also troubled, into her home, but Nikolas didn’t stay. He moved to the home of a friend’s parents. The couple let him keep a rifle he owned when he moved into their home. Supposedly it was under lock and key.
Cruz shot the teachers and kids, then dropped the rifle (an AR-15), multiple magazines, and the bag he concealed them in, and mingled in with the fleeing kids. He hit two fast food places. About an hour later, police arrested him.
Local police knew Cruz well. They had been to his residence 39 times since 2010. Neighbors reported he shot guns in the neighborhood, decapitated small animals, and aimed at them and their house windows. The police logs showed numerous fights between Cruz and his adoptive mother.
Cruz bought not only the AR-15, but several other firearms. Evidently his adoptive mother was generous with her money. Cruz didn’t seem to have a job until she died a couple of months ago.
Child Protective Services people evaluated Cruz after he cut himself on purpose. They did not rule he needed committing to a mental institution.
Cruz was receiving mental treatment. The shrinks did not believe he should be locked up either.
Cruz had an on-line presence as a wanna-be school shooter. A bail bondsman in Mississippi named Ben Bennight tipped the FBI Cruz should be watched. The FBI got another tip about Cruz’s violent tendencies in January 2018 from a Florida resident. The feds did nothing with either tip.
There is plenty of blame to go around. None of it involves firearms; all of it involves negligent or evil people.
First there is Nikolas Cruz himself. He chose to shoot other kids and he mixed in with the fleeing students once he was through shooting. He got by the police. Only later did a cop arrest him. They knew he was trouble.
Next are the Barneys in the FBI.
FBI director Christopher Wray admitted his agency’s personnel had crapped the bed yet again. This is the latest in a string of FBI failures to protect the public when they knew about violent people who hated Americans before they acted on their desires to kill innocent people.
The FBI ignored the evidently bisexual Moslem who shot up a gay nightclub in Orlando in 2016, even though they had info on him.
The FBI ignored the Moslem couple who shot up a group of government employees at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, California in 2015. The male Moslem worked as a government employee. He and his female were involved in importing other Moslems and sham marrying them to US nationals. They had also planned bombings as early as 2011. The FBI sat on their hands with this case too.
The FBI ignored the Tsarnaev brothers, the Moslem Chechnyans who bombed the Boston Marathon in 2013. Russian officials told the feds how dangerous the two were. The Tsarnaevs and their imported relatives were sucking hundreds of thousands of dollars in social services benefits from the taxpayers.
The FBI butchered the investigation that could have prevented 9-11. Robert Mueller was in charge of the FBI when Arab Moslems struck on that day in 2001.
Mueller is now in charge of the snipe hunt against Donald Trump and his team. Mueller is a key member of the Deep State.
Many people have been saying the FBI was too busy persecuting President Trump and his people to be doing their job of protecting the public from violent criminals.
Ohio governor John Kasich attacked President Trump over the weekend for his accurate critique of the losers in the FBI. Kasich is a terminal never-Trumper. Kasich is also like the yappy small dog who gets jealous when its owners bring home a new baby and shower attention on the babe as parents should do. Yappy Kasich can’t decide whether to defecate and urinate on the rug, bite the baby, or rub itself inappropriately on visitors to the home. So Yappy Kasich does all of the above.
I know plenty of local police and sheriff’s deputies, and to a man they hate the FBI for their arrogance and their incompetence.
Next are the local police in Broward County, Florida, where Cruz lived and murdered others. The goobers did not exactly cover themselves in glory.
They responded 39 times to Cruz’s residence in the past 7 years. They never arrested Cruz despite what the neighbors said he did.
Broward County is a leftist county. Its citizens and noncitizens vote overwhelmingly for Hillary and other Democrats. In the 2016 election, she got 550,000 votes and Donald Trump got 260,000 votes. Even if some of her votes were illegally cast, that is still more than a 2:1 margin of leftists over everyone else for that county.
Cops under-enforce laws in leftist cities and counties if they want to keep their jobs. In leftist counties, criminals are constituents who vote Democrat. So county public officials order the cops to use minimal force in protecting the public and making arrests.
Public officials in leftist counties tend to hire cops who are followers, guys and gals who follow orders instead of thinking for themselves. Some of these counties, whose officials want to contain police spending, won’t hire cops whose IQs are above 110. They claim the sharper cops will leave because they will get bored with their work, or will realize they are underpaid for what they have to do. Federal judges agree with communities and throw out lawsuits by men who are smarter than a locality’s IQ limit for hiring police.
Unsaid in the politicians’ policy of hiring policemen and policewomen of lesser intelligence is that sharper cops will figure out how to investigate and bust corrupt officials.
All too often, leftist communities get normal and dull-normal people with badges. Since police forces usually promote from within, many top people in police forces aren’t that bright either.
Broward County is also a sanctuary county. Maybe Cruz got some slack because he has a Hispanic name.
Broward County school officials, step up and accept your paddling.
Broward County’s teachers and police in recent years have been trying to divert troublesome kids away from arrests and toward alternate schooling. It looks bad to the politically correct to haul kids away from schools in handcuffs, so to protect evil kids and snowflake classmates, school officials have juvenile hoodlums put in “alternative schools” instead of in juvenile jails.
School official expelled Cruz from high school because he brought ammo to school. Other students said Cruz committed a number of evil and criminal acts in school. Yet because the school officials didn’t have Cruz arrested ever, and because he accepted diversion to an “alternate school,” he had a clean record and was able to buy firearms. Multiple firearms. With money from Mom.
The school officials failed.
The school officials also failed the kids by having an easy-to-enter campus. There is no wall or fence around the school limiting access to those who don’t belong there. Only one security guard had a weapon, and he was at another part of the school when Cruz pulled the fire alarm and shot kids and teachers as they came out of classrooms.
Teachers and administrators ensure school shootings by refusing to carry firearms themselves, and fighting initiatives that would allow school employees to pack heat.
(Of course teachers are more prone to molest children than other professionals, so much more screening of teachers is needed to weed out the pervs. This is something that scumbag teacher unions and school administrators oppose.)
The shrinks failed big time also.
One news report noted, “Despite the repeated calls to authorities, Cruz was never arrested – and was basically cleared as being “no threat to anyone or himself,” as one therapist said in a police report from Sept. 28, 2016. In that particular call, the (Broward County) sheriff’s office said Nikolas and his mother were fighting over paperwork needed for him to get an ID card. In their report, deputies detailed how the teen had been harming himself and had talked about buying a gun.
The therapist on scene, Jared Bienenfeld with Henderson mental health (actually Henderson Behavioral Health, a large Florida mental health provider), and the deputies concluded there were “no signs of mental illness or criminal activity.”
Government child welfare agents also fouled their Depends.
Another report noted Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) personnel failed in their duties when they were supposed to investigate Cruz for deliberately cutting himself with a knife.
In the CPS report, “Cruz, then 18, was listed as an “alleged victim” of medical neglect and inadequate supervision; his mother, 68-year-old Lynda Cruz, the “alleged perpetrator.” “

So did the shrinks at Henderson Behavioral Health, the outfit whose people were allegedly monitoring Cruz. From the same news source:
“The agency (DCF) concluded that Cruz had not been mistreated by his mother, that he was receiving adequate care from a counselor at Henderson Behavioral Health, and was attending school.
“Henderson came out and assessed the [victim and] found him to be stable enough not to be hospitalized,” the report said. More detailed chronological notes of the investigation show the case ended with a notation that “no services are recommended.”
The investigation appears to have lacked rigor: An exceptional student education specialist who worked with Cruz repeatedly declined to return phone calls from DCF’s adult protective services investigator. The school’s resource officer, a deputy, “refused to share any information” at all, except to confirm that a mobile crisis unit had been out to the school to assess Cruz. Cruz himself also wouldn’t cooperate, saying that “he talked about the situation enough.”
If Cruz had, in fact, been cutting himself that day, the investigator appears to have made little effort to confirm the allegation: The investigator, the report said, “was not able to see any scars or cuts on the [victim’s] arms because he was wearing long sleeves.”
The government agents and the shrinks didn’t even make Cruz roll up his sleeves to show his self-mutilation, an act that should have landed him in a mental institution. Concern for privacy? Cowardice? Or incompetence?
Florida DCF agents had the means to make the kid, Mom, the school people, the shrinks, and the school cop help out. But they didn’t do so. Of course, this doesn’t excuse the kid, Mom, the school people, the shrinks, or the school cop for their wrongdoing.
What made the government people refuse to release info on Nikolas Cruz?
The silent partner of many murderers is the ACLU. Take a bow, shysters.
The ACLU and government officials with similar harmful agendas have enshrined the “right to privacy” so much that government agents don’t trade info with each other on dangerous people who commit crimes at schools. That doesn’t excuse the school counselor, the deputy, the shrinks, and the state child services people from evidently crapping themselves when dealing with Nikolas Cruz. He should have been in a mental institution.
The ACLU, IMO, to which I am entitled, is a scavenger organization whose lawyers bring lawsuits of dubious to zero value against small to medium government units. Once they get a crackpot or corrupt judge to agree with them, the government agency usually settles. Even if the knucklehead plaintiff receives nominal damages, the ACLU gets huge lawyer fees. This is how they have been able to wreck so many common sense traditions, practices, and institutions.
“Privacy rights ” is one of the ploys they use. Because of the ACLU, the doctors’ lobby and militant feminists, for example, many parents find out their teenage daughter has undergone an abortion when they find her in a hospital emergency room, or collapsed and bled out at home.
The ACLU and other leftists forced the shutdown a number of asylums and orphanages. Certainly some asylum people and orphanage people were abusive. But kids like Nikolas Cruz, whose adoptive mother couldn’t and wouldn’t control him, and gave him the money to buy guns, should have been at such a place for his own protection and the protection of others.
“Barney Miller,” the 1970s police sitcom that was the favorite of many cops, addressed the problem in an offhanded fashion. One Barney Miller episode I recall featured a crazy lady who had threatened to harm people. Barney, the sensitive but fair detectives’ captain, said he heard she could get “innovative treatment” for her problems.
The lady brightened and said seriously, “I believe they call it dumping.”
So the ACLU and like organizations and their greedy lawyers bear some of the blame for the “privacy” laws that school officials, police, and shrinks hide behind when they crap themselves in a way that results in the murder of innocent kids and a lack of places to put crazy people who may harm themselves and others.

The entertainment business is also to blame.
They sell violent video games and make increasingly violent and crappy movies and TV shows that glorify violence without glorifying moral behavior. They claim their excrement has no impact on kids. But they tell advertisers their shows will increase people’s desires to buy the advertisers’ goods and services. They can’t have it both ways.
I grew up with Westerns and cop shows like “The Untouchables” and crime shows like “Perry Mason.” These shows had violence, but did not glorify violence. They showed violence to show how evil the villains were and how richly they deserved being shot or hanged. In all of these shows, decent people killed or incarcerated the killers and rapists.
TV and movies can be a force for good. Sky King, another favorite of mine, was about a rancher and pilot who helped the local sheriff fight crime out west. Sky King led many guys in my age group to become pilots. Emergency, Jack Webb’s show about EMTs, inspired teen star Bobby Sherman and a generation of young men and young women to become paramedics. And Lorne Greene, who played Bonanza patriarch Ben Cartwright, said much of his fan mail came from boys wishing they had a father as tough and great as the man he portrayed.
Kids are watching and learning. If all they see is evil, that’s what they will ingest.
Related to the entertainment industry are the people in the media and schools and in government who have hateful agendas. These are the idiots who are screaming “toxic masculinity” is to blame. These are leftists who I choose to give another title – shitbirds.
Football coach Aaron Feis died from his wounds while shielding high school kids from Cruz. Obviously a football coach who acts heroically is someone the shitbirds would call toxically masculine.
Four boys at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida were also toxically masculine.
Ninth-grader Anthony Borges, a soccer player, took five slugs while shielding other kids, but survived. Maybe he was shielding girls because of the patriarchy and his desire to date them. The shitbirds would call him toxically masculine.
Peter Wang, RIP. We measure heroes by their hearts, not by their coat sizes.
Peter Wang, 15, was wearing his Junior ROTC uniform when the shooter struck. He sacrificed himself by holding open a door so other kids could escape. A number of panicky adult teachers and other school staffers also ran thru the doorway the diminutive Wang held open without thinking about Wang’s stoicism, but thinking only about their own hides. Wang died of gunshot wounds. Another toxically masculine male, in uniform whose death the shitbirds gloat over.
Colton Haab, another toxically masculine JROTC kid, and his unnamed toxically masculine JROTC buddy, shielded other kids by putting up small-caliber bullet resistant kevlar mats between them and Nikolas Cruz.
“We lined [the students] up into the wall and along the back of the wall…and from there I was standing with my first sergeant (the other JROTC toxic male) and I said, ‘these are kevlar, these are bulletproof material,’” Haab recalled (to a Fox News reporter). “We started moving the kevlar sheets forward.”
Haab also revealed that he believes Coach Aaron Feis, who died while shielding students with his body, could have stopped the shooter if he had his firearm with him in school.
“If Coach Feis had had his firearm in school that day, I believe that he most likely could have stopped the threat,” Haab asserted. His civics teacher may give him an Ffor this bit of common sense.
Colton Haab, a kid with a little training, did a lot more for the other kids than most of the teachers.
The shitbirds have no concept of sacrifice. They look down on heroes who die for others.
The next time someone says “toxic masculinity,” he or she should be kicked in the mouth so hard he or she will be chewing food in his or her backside.
There is one more factor — the single or divorced or widowed mom trying to control a teenage boy who increasingly resists discipline. Most of the women who have criminal sons can’t or won’t keep them under control.
Author Suzanne Venker made the point that fatherless boys are far more likely to commit violent crimes than boys with fathers – including kids who shoot up public schools. Moms have less and less impact on boys as they grow older. They are less able to control their sons if the sons decide to be violent. Broken homes have always produced more criminals per capital that two-parent homes.
Cruz and Adam Lanza, who killed the children in Newtown, CT, had indulgent mothers. The two knuckleheads who carried out the Columbine Massacre had indulgent parents. This is what allowed them access to firearms.
Cruz’s adoptive mom lied to cover for her little darling. She said Cruz only had an air gun. Adam Lanza, the freak who killed 26 children and teachers in Newtown, Connecticut, had a mom who bought him many firearms and let him shoot them despite knowing he was a nutjob. Indulgent mothers whose children never do wrong are criminally negligent and vicariously responsible for many murders and other crimes their children commit.
Lanza, by the way, was a pedophile. His laptop’s contents, reluctantly released by the FBI, had child pornography, articles that justified adults having sex with children, and a play he had written about a 30-year-old male sodomizing a 10-year-old boy.
One moronic shrink claimed Lanza killed to children to avoid having sex with them, implying he should have raped the children. This is a guy who needs his license set on fire while he is confined to a room with wallpaper by Goodyear.

Broward County commissioner and vice-mayor Mark Bogan attacked President Trump for coming to visit the wounded students, and the medical people and first responders. Bogan is a hemorrhoid. He and his kind would complain if President Trump cured cancer because cancer researchers got laid off.
I don’t need to list all the scumbag politicians who have turned the tragedy which government failures helped happen into a push for gun control.
Scott Israel, the sheriff of Broward County, met with President Trump but played to his leftist base at a rally at the high school after the shootings. “If you’re an elected official, and you want to keep things the way they are, if you want to keep gun laws as they are now, you will not get re-elected in Broward County,” Israel told a crowd that erupted in cheers.
Anti-gun people at the rally chanted “No more guns!”
(By the way, some Florida school systems are providing buses and fuel and other resources so teachers and kids can protest gun laws in Florida. This is clearly a misuse of taxpayer money. Those responsible should be fired and the money must be repaid.)
Israel tried to nuance himself when away from the ralliers. He said he favored checks on those with mental problems to keep them away from firearms, and he said he wanted school officials and mental health people to share info on troubled people with the authorities. These are measures President Trump favors.
A few days after the tragedy, a young woman once again accused Sheriff Israel of failing another gun control test around, or, errr, inside, a teenage girl that reportedly led to a fatality.
An unidentified woman, in a Youtube video, said Sheriff Israel seduced her and knocked her up when she was 17. She said she found out he was married and the father of other children besides hers. She said Israel forced her to undergo an abortion. From her video, “Hi Scott, it’s me again. You know that at 17, because of you, I had to have an abortion. Now I’m finding out that you have three kids — and a kid from another marriage, and a wife of 20 years and you’re happily married. Are you serious?”
This video first surfaced in 2012. Israel’s furious wife accused the woman of being in the pay of Israel’s political rivals. Someone with a sense of timing re-released it a couple of days ago.
The lunatic mainstream in the media are in on the game. They are pushing the victimhood of an upper income community with leftist leaders and incompetent police, school officials, shrinks, and child welfare agents.
But they are saying nothing about the victims of teenage murderer Gabe Parker, who used a handgun to shoot a number of bullets into a crowd of kids at Marshall County High School in Benton, Kentucky in January. He killed a boy and a girl and wounded roughly 20 others. Cruz escaped Florida police for awhile. Kentucky lawmen arrested murderer Gabe Parker within minutes of his attacks.
Mary Garrison Minyard, the shooter’s mother, is a reporter; she rushed to the school and found out her son was the suspect. She has been divorced from the boy’s father for a decade. She declined to comment; another reporter took her assignment. She may have been kept away from the crime scene and witnesses to avoid any potential tampering with an ongoing investigation involving her son.
Kentucky governor Matt Bevin, speaking to mourners, blamed the acceptance of evil in society and the glorification of violence. He also said, “There are people who do not understand and do not believe in the things we’re talking about right now,” he said. “And there will be all the social media trolls and people that will scorn and mock and will ridicule the fact that we would call out to our Creator at a time like this.”
Parker within the past few days has been indicted and will be tried as an adult. The school has stepped up security. Legislation is going thru the state legislature that would call for the deputizing and training of teachers and others to serve as armed protectors at Kentucky schools. And Kentucky high school teachers and administrators are not using school buses and disrupting school days to rally against firearms.
Marshall County is one of the poorer counties in America. Kentucky is one of the poorest states in America. They voted overwhelmingly for President Trump. And they are asking for prayers but not media sympathy or rioting or virtue signaling.

Now for the plot twist, courtesy of today’s Fox News, who are essentially rebroadcasting a story from the New York Post:
“Just one day after the shooting massacre last week at a Florida high school, the woman who cared for the alleged shooter and his brother filed court papers seeking control of their inheritance, which could total up to $800,000, according to the New York Post.
Roxanne Deschamps also had Zachary Cruz, the brother of shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz, involuntarily committed to a mental facility shortly after the massacre, the Post reported, citing a family source.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office filed a motion on Tuesday asking the court to determine whether Nikolas Cruz is indigent and eligible for a taxpayer-funded defense.
Deschamps, a longtime family friend of the Cruz brothers, began looking after them after their adoptive mother, Lynda, died of pneumonia in November.
Her court filings indicate she wants to administer Lynda’s estate, which would make her responsible to distributing the proceeds of her life insurance policy and settling her debts, the Post reported.
While there are no indications Deschamps would be able to obtain the inheritance for herself, she could charge a fee for her efforts administering the estate, subject to judicial approval.
Cruz reportedly told a family friend that Deschamps wanted to steal his inheritance, according to the Post. The paper also cited a source who reported that Deschamps had thrown Nikolas out of her trailer because of a dispute over his gun collection — but not before taking nearly $3,000 from him.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office has filed a motion asking the court to determine whether Cruz is indigent and eligible for a taxpayer-funded defense.
If the court concludes Cruz can pay for his own legal defense, he’ll have to hire a private attorney.
His money — including any inheritance he obtains — would be subject to seizure in a civil judgment, including one resulting from any potential wrongful death lawsuits filed by his alleged victims.”
A bit of clarification, because the article excerpt could be confusing: Roxanne Deschamps had both boys (Nikolas and Zachary) after Lynda Cruz’s death, but apparently kicked Nikolas out after taking $2900 from him. The Sneads, the couple who Nikolas lived with until his arrest, did not try to pull his trust money. Nikolas apparently told them about the covetous crony of Lynda Cruz trying to steal his inheritance. Zachary stayed with Raunchy Roxanne until she had him committed just after the school shootings.
Is this Roxanne Deschamps the queen of the tramps? Did she take the Cruz brothers in with an eye to stealing their trust money? Did she trigger Nikolas Cruz, hoping he would commit a crime serious enough that even the Broward County Sheriff’s goobers would have to make an arrest? And while he was in jail or the nuthouse, could she drain his money and his little brother’s money?
Deschamps had six months from Lynda’s Nov. 1 death to file the petition, and her attorney Audra Simovitz called the decision to file the day after the slaughter “appropriate.” IMO, to which I’m entitled, this shysterette needs to be disbarred for being an accomplice to grand theft.
And how ironic it is that Sheriff Israel, whose people couldn’t be bothered arresting Nikolas Cruz while he was with his adoptive mother the 30 or more times they came out to his house right away knew how to go after his money. Did Sheriff Israel stop attending anti-gun rallies amd stop bopping high school girls (allegedly) long enough to research the law on indigency?
Why isn’t Roxanne in jail for theft or for wrongful conversion or for manslaughter if the allegations above are true? Women have been convicted of manslaughter or homicide for withholding sex from lovers unless they killed the adulteresses’ husbands. Women have been convicted of manslaughter for encouraging mentally ill people to commit suicide.
And wouldn’t such Hillarian behavior be called “toxic femininity?”
THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF MUCH EVIL.
Now for some solutions.
One is training school personnel how to respond to a school shooter.
Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County, Florida urged school officials to send some teachers for firearms training so they could protect children.
WTSP-TV in Florida reported the following:
“Judd is also calling on the Florida legislature to authorize statewide training for teachers, staff and students on what to do in the event of an attack on campus.
And he’s asking them to make changes to Florida’s Baker Act to allow them to take preventative action if someone’s showing signs they may carry out an attack. Currently, the Baker Act is a means of providing people with emergency services and temporary detention for mental health evaluation and treatment, either on a voluntary or an involuntary basis.
“If we don’t see any immediate mental health, we can’t Baker Act. Just give us the tools,” Judd said. “But most importantly, don’t let politics and gun control bog this down.”
Judd is one of my favorite sheriffs. We profiled him in September, because he told child molesters he would shelter them from Hurricane Irma in the county jail but they couldn’t mingle with children at public shelters.
In 2006, a fugitive cop-killer raised the pistol he had taken from the officer he had shot to death at police who confronted him. The nine officers shot 110 rounds and put 68 bullets into his miserable hide. When asked by some bedwetter, errr, reporter why the poor murderer was shot at 110 times, Judd replied, “I suspect the only reason 110 rounds was all that was fired was that’s all the ammunition they had,” Judd said. “We were not going to take any chance of him shooting back.”
Judd’s reply had leftists across the country losing bladder and bowel control.
In Ohio, Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones will be qualifying teachers for concealed carry firearm permits for free. He is also going to offer school shooter tactical training to some school employees. He said he had room for 50 teachers and other school employees in the classes; 200 or so school employees in the county have tried to sign up so far.
President Trump’s Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is reminding school officials across the country that state legislatures have the option to train and arm school employees. Typically, pumpkinheads in the Democrat-infested legislature in California and stoner governor Jerry Brown outlawed this sort of preparedness on Halloween of 2017 after officials in several rural school districts in the Granola State decided to arm some of their school employees.
Another solution is punishment for shrinks and government employees when they do wrong.
Shrinks cleared Nikolas Cruz to walk the streets, unarrested and untreated, and with a clean record so he could shoot other kids. There should be legislation and enforcement to make it easier for victims and survivors to sue alleged professionals in the mental health field (psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers) whose professional failings lead to those who they clear or fail to report for arrest or commital to be free to commit murder, rape, or other felony crimes. Easier professional license revocations should be in the mix too.
I wrote about Jean Workman, the Ohio social worker and prosecutor agent who shacked up with and later married serial child molester Scott Dietz. Dietz, who server 13 years in prison for raping his two preschool age daughters for years (and who confessed to molesting his kid sister and much younger kid cousins), owed the state $60,000 or more in welfare reimbursement because taxpayers supported his two little girls while he was in prison for raping them, and Jean Workman covered for him. So did her boss Summit County Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh. Ohio authorities refused to revoke Jean’s social worker license because she is a government employee. Ohio’s law and any other state law and federal law that protects the licenses of those who did wrong because they are government employees or officials need to be revoked to allow the revocations of professional licenses of government employees when they do wrong.
President Trump is 100 percent right on this. We need to can government employees as easily as private-sector employees on union contracts can be canned. They should have union protections if they exist, but not lifetime tenure and government protection for their unlawful acts.
A third is higher standards for police, educators, and other civil servants. Your community should hire the best officers, teachers, and other civil servants you taxpayers can afford.

President Trump and your other elected and appointed government officials need to hear your encouragement and your critiques.
You are your children’s first responder.
There are some professionally done videos on shooter drills on the Net. Your children can run, hide, or fight. Watch these with your kids and discuss them.
You can also demand better cops and teachers than what you have now.
School officials have semi-custodial control of children when they are on school grounds. They are legally responsible for your children while they are at school.
Organize other parents to go with you and meet with your children’s school principals and ask them what there plans are to protect your children.
Do the schools have controlled entrances and exits with armed guards and metal detectors? Do your children’s schools have armed teachers? Armed guards? Extra police or trained military veterans?
If the schools are not up to speed, ask each principal when he or she intends to have a plan in place and what the plan is.
If they don’t have a plan, or if it is a garbage plan, let the media know, and let other parents know
Pressure your school board to fire any principal who is not up to snuff on school security.
Vote for school officials based on preparedness. Make preparedness an issue in every school board election. You have the right to throw the bad apples out like garbage.
Likewise, push your legislatures to make it easier to do the following:
∙ Punish civil servants, educators, and police who do wrong or are negligent.
∙ Make it easier to revoke professional licenses and certifications.
∙ Make it easier to sue shrinks who commit malpractice or otherwise fall short.
∙ Make it easier to remove civil servants, educators, and police from office when they do wrong or negligently don’t do right.
The most important part of the situation is protection of children. Even people in medieval Europe understood this, as an episode in Joan of Arc’s life illustrates. Her little village locked up a madman because he posed a threat to others. Joan was a kindly girl, and she talked to him while he was caged and occasionally brought him food.
One day the madman got out and started running toward Joan and a group of other children swinging an axe. The boys and girls fled. All except Joan. Horrified, they watched as the madman raised the axe to chop off Joan’s head. They looked away, unable to bear seeing their friend lose her head. When they looked again, Joan was walking with the madman, holding his giant hand with one hand. In her other hand was the handle of the axe.
Joan turned the madman over to the adults. When asked if she was frightened, she said she was, but someone had to stop the madman before he could hurt others. So she plucked up the courage to do so herself.
No one cares about and loves your children like you do. You are not being asked to risk beheading, like Joan of Arc did. Be your children’s protector and first responder.
