Michigan State and School Corruption Coast to Coast

Sherlock
January28/ 2018

Parents know schools are places where kids pick up lots of germs. But many parents aren’t aware that many germs at school pick out kids.

But it’s true. The teachers and other staffers are loaded with two-legged germs — pervs and enablers. Why? Schools are loaded with children. And the pay and pensions are pretty good too. Not to mention the teacher union and the administration will protect their pervs.

The Larry Nassar Michigan State sexual abuse scandal has finally caught the nation’s attention.

Nassar, an osteopath and a long-time trainer and doctor for very young women athletes at Michigan State University and high school girls in Michigan, and the team doctor for the girls’ US Olympics gymnastics team, is going to prison for life. More than 150 of his victims came forward against him.

His method? He would tell girls and coeds seeking relief for hip and back pain he would realign their hips. He then would stick his fingers in their vaginas and keep them there for many minutes at a time while he massaged their muscles with his free hand. He did this to some girls scores of times, his victims reported. He took advantage of their trust in his ability to help them. Female coaches and at least one Olympic gymnastics coach covered for him. The female coaches told the girls and parents what Nassar did was an acceptable medical practice.

Michigan State higher-ups and local prosecutors kept Nassar’s crimes under wraps. Finally the campus police chief got the attorney general of Michigan to press sexual abuse charges against Nassar. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 40 to 175 years in prison a few days ago.

The president and athletic director of Michigan State have resigned. So have all the officers in the USA Gymnastics organization. These people chose the girls for the US Olympics teams and supposedly watched coaches. Nassar was one of many adults with the USA Gymnastics seal of approval who molested girls.

Now another athletic director, Jack Swarbrick at Notre Dame, is facing some pressure to come clean. In Notre Dame’s case, some of their own football fans are bringing heat and light to the situation.

Swarbrick hired Brian Kelly to coach Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish football team. Kelly has underachieved in his eight years as gridiron boss in South Bend. Kelly also appeared negligent in the death of Declan Sullivan, a student assistant. In 2010, Kelly’s first year at Notre Dame, Sullivan died after a hydraulic lift he was filming a team practice from fell. There were very high winds that day, and a gust blew the lift over, killing Declan.

Kelly seemed more self-serving than apologetic about the tragedy. Swarbrick, who was at the practice, struck people as being legalistic in sticking up for his coach. Notre Dame president, Father John Jenkins, was not pleased. He admitted quickly and publicly Notre Dame failed the Sullivans. Jenkins didn’t try to dicker with the grieving parents, but had the Sullivans paid millions of dollars for the loss of their son, who was trying to please Kelly by staying at his post despite the risk to his life. When Notre Dame played Alabama for the national title after the 2012 season (which would have been after Declan’s senior year), the Sullivan family attended.

Swarbrick, before he came to South Bend in 2008, was the legal counsel for the NCAA (whose goofs routinely overlook cheating by schools and criminal misconduct by athletes) and USA Gymnastics (whose people covered for predator coaches). They both base in Indianapolis, where Swarbrick practiced law. He was counsel to these groups for about a decade while Nassar was molesting Olympic hopeful girl gymnasts, and college coed athletes at Michigan State.

Given his questionable behavior in the Declan Sullivan case, was Swarbrick less than a moralist and more of a damage control lawyer while the NCAA and USA Gymnastics were paying him? Because Notre Dame, like President Trump, is always a target of the jealous, the puny, and the hypocritical, I predict Swarbrick will soon be under very bright lights that won’t be a stadium or arena lights.

Unlike the Michigan State fan base, there are a large number of Notre Dame fans and alums who are not prone to give Swarbrick the benefit of the doubt. They view Kelly as a failure, and justifiably so. Compared to Ara Parseghian, Dan Devine, and Lou Holtz, Kelly is a poser, losing more games per year despite playing a softer schedule. They blame Swarbrick for hiring him. Notre Dame should be cleaner than other college athletic programs, which routinely can be sinkholes, they will argue.

In all fairness to Swarbrick, I hope for his sake he tried to do right with these other institutions, and their bosses ignored him because they were selfish and greedy and/or cowardly. We shall see.

Meanwhile, other schools’ teachers and officials are committing crimes under the radar across the nation. I’ll treat you to a small sample from January 2018.

This, from the Daily Caller and CBS, 1/22/2018:

“An after school P.E. teacher stripped naked and chased California elementary school students on a playground, according to a Tuesday video.

A construction worker captured video of the unidentified teacher during and after the incident at Carthay Center Elementary School, reported CBS Los Angeles. (This school is a magnet school on the tonier west side of L.A.)

“He was supposed to be helping them learn P.E., run around and have fun,” said one parent to CBS Los Angeles. “But he undressed and started chasing the kids while he was naked, and then the kids ducked and dodged, ran into some of the classrooms and got safe haven that way.”

“The guy could’ve hurt one of the children,” said another parent. “All of the kids [saw] his private parts. Very embarrassing.”

L.A. Unified School District swine and perv enablers, errr, officials and spokespeople, were at pains to claim the perp was a contract PE teacher, not a regular tenured L.A. Unified School District teacher.

As if it would matter. Lawyers for the L.A. Unified School District admitted in 2014 that they destroyed 20 years worth of records on sex offending teachers and other school employees in that school district, the nation’s second largest. They did so as parents were suing the school district over certain teachers who had track records of school sex abuse incidents. Since it happened in L.A., where movie and TV bigwigs routinely molest women, girls, and boys, the lawyers and the school district officials who were complicit got away with it. The L.A. Unified School District is a criminal organization.

How was this case proven?

A construction worker used his cell phone to record the perv doing his thing. You should learn how to use your cell phone to record wrongdoing also.

Parents told the reporters about the teacher. But without the footage the school officials and the politicians would have blown the parents off. Los Angeles is perv-friendly and parent-hostile, unless the parent is a perv. If the parents made statements to the police, eventually these will become public records.

L.A. Unified School District criminals will fight any lawsuits by claiming sovereign immunity, and hoping the corrupt and incompetent judges who slime the courts in that state come through for them.

Public schools shelter their sex abusers with aggressive unions and complicit school officials. When all else fails, they go to the sovereign immunity card. “You can’t sue us. We’re the government.”

A charter school in Washington, D.C. will not have the sovereign immunity card to play.

Rob Shimshock wrote the following for the 1/12/2018 Daily Caller:

“Two families sued a top-ranking D.C. elementary charter school for more than $100 million after the sexual assault of their children, according to a Thursday report.

The unnamed families are suing the Latin American Montessori Bilingual (LAMB) Public Charter School one month after former teacher Manuel Garcia Fernandez received eight years in prison for the sexual assault of six students from 2015 to 2017, reported the Washington Post.

The families claim that LAMB should have fired Fernandez earlier, alleging that multiple reports since 2014 attested to the former teacher’s suspicious behavior around students. Staff members allegedly saw Fernandez bringing children into the basement, which is banned, and emailed the children often. (Fernandez was a wolf among the LAMBs.)

“Minor 1 began exhibiting unusual behavior, including, but not limited to, becoming upset, suffering from an eye twitch, having trouble sleeping, waking up agitated, and being afraid of being alone in Minor 1’s basement, taking a shower or going to the bathroom alone,” said a statement related to the litigation obtained by WaPo. “Minor 1 also began suffering from anxiety, having trouble breathing and was sad and despondent.”

Cristina Encinas, LAMB’s former principal, stepped down in December following an investigation and Diane Cottman, LAMB’s executive director, is expected to follow when the school year concludes.

The lawsuit asserts that Cottman and Encinas did not tell the families all of the allegations Fernandez faced.”

The lawsuit against LAMB is a public record.

Parents and other adults, note the behavioral symptoms the one child suffered. When a child’s behavior changes for the worse, suspect the worst. He or she has been victimized by an adult or an older teen. This is a clue as old as Dick Tracy’s Crimestoppers Textbook.

Elementary school and high school teachers are not getting the job done in the classroom. According to a 1/16/2018 article by the Daily Caller’s Grace Carr:

“Illinois school districts are trying out a new method of nontraditional schooling in an effort to raise test scores that have been abysmal for a long time.

Ten school districts will launch the competency-based learning program this fall, in an effort to allow students to move at their own pace so that they can fully learn lesson plans rather than having set deadlines, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Teachers in certain school districts will also not evaluate students with traditional testing methods but will rely more heavily upon presentations, projects and activities that students complete outside of the classroom. The students in the program will not receive GPA rankings.

“It is a huge discussion in education,” said Round Lake District Director of teaching and learning, Susan Center. “Multiple articles talk about grades and what we’re doing and why we are keeping them. It is hard to break a system that is over a century old,” she added.”

I’ve got news for you, Susie Q. The laws of nature (including those of math, chemistry, biology, and physics) are as old as Creation. I’m guessing a look at your school district’s standardized test scores and those of others who are honks for this gradeless teaching anarchy will reveal you and your peers don’t do much to earn the fat salaries the taxpayers pay you.

How do you evaluate a student without test scores and grade point averages?

I predict an Illinois high school diploma will soon have as much worth and function as a few squares of toilet paper.

By the way, standardized test score results are public records. You can’t look up how individual kids did, but you can look up averages for the entire district. And don’t be so satisfied if your school district does better than state average. All state averages are low, even with grade inflation. The average high school graduate can’t make change properly. The average high school graduate has problems expressing himself or herself in writing. The cost in millions of dollars of remedial classes in local colleges and the mushrooming of the tutor business should tell you your public schools are not achieving greatness.

In nearby Michigan, which is reeling from the Larry Nasser gymnast molesting scandal, those who hire, screen, and monitor teachers failed again. Here’s this case, per People Magazine 1/5/2018:

“A former Michigan middle school teacher faces life in prison after pleading no contest to trying to kill his wife by slitting her throat —and admitting to an 18-month sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student, PEOPLE confirms.

On Tuesday, James Philip Chelekis, 32, of Wyoming, Michigan, pleaded no contest to assault with intent to murder, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE.

Chelekis sliced his wife’s throat open during an argument in June while the couple’s children were home, the Detroit Free Press reports. The children were not aware of the attack at the time and were not harmed, the outlet reports.

Chelekis, who taught math at Crestwood Middle School in the Kentwood Public School District for six years, also pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

Police were called to the couple’s Wyoming (Michigan) home shortly before 6 a.m. on June 27 and found the man’s wife, Amanda Chelekis, 33, with her throat cut from one end to the other, Mlive.com reported at the time.

She miraculously survived the attack, telling police her husband tried to kill her, according to local news station WZZM 13.

Chelekis told police that he armed himself with a knife during an argument with his wife, Mlive.com reported, citing court records. During the fight, he said both he and his wife fell, which caused the injuries to her throat.

But court records also show that police found that she had defensive wounds on her hands that were consistent with a knife attack, WZZM 13 reports.

During the investigation of the attack, police learned that Chelekis was having a sexual relationship with a then 14-year-old student at the middle school where he taught, Mlive.com reports.

Now 15, the student told police that she and Chelekis had a sexual relationship for a year and a half, according to Mlive.com. Text messages and photos confirmed the relationship, police said, according to Mlive.com.

Police said Chelekis’ wife didn’t know about the relationship with the student until after the attack. She filed for divorce shortly after the attack, court records show.

The school district placed Chelekis on administrative leave after criminal charges were filed. He is no longer employed by the district.”

No kidding. It would be hard for the statutory rapist and attempted wife beheader to commute to his middle school teaching job from state prison.

Pointers for this case?

The police saw the teacher was a liar by checking his wife’s defensive wounds. He slashed at her while both were still standing.

The police report, a public record at the appropriate time, may have confirmed a phone and computer search of the teacher, which may have led to his statutory rape activities.

There is a problem with the PEOPLE report. The wife knew.

Per ABC and AP 1/26/2018, “The attack came after Amanda Chelekis found evidence of an affair. The couple spent most of the evening discussing the issue before agreeing to marriage counseling. Amanda Chelekis wasn’t aware at the time that her husband’s contact was with a juvenile.

“Standing behind me, he kissed my forehead and slit my throat from one side to the other,” Amanda Chelekis said in court. “The trauma I was forced to endure was horrendous.”

Amanda Chelekis, who is a registered nurse, was able to contain the bleeding for almost an hour before her husband called for help. She filed for divorce after the attack. The pair has two daughters together.

James Chelekis was a math teacher at Crestwood Middle School. Investigators said he’d traded texts, chats and photos with a 14-year-old girl that suggested they began sexual encounters in June 2016.

In a statement read by prosecutors, the girl’s mother wrote that James Chelekis had manipulated and isolated her daughter in order to start an inappropriate relationship with the girl.”

According to a 1/26/2018 Fox News story, “After the attack, he read Bible verses and called the middle school student he had been sleeping with…. The 14-year-old girl is the one who convinced the 32-year-old to call police.” (She had more morals than the teacher did.)

Chelekis, charged with attempted murder and with criminal sexual activity, pled no contest to the former and guilty to the latter. He drew a 30 to 60 year sentence for the attempted murder 1/26/2018. He will serve it at the same time he serves 15 to 40 years for using the girl sexually for more than a year.

(Note: Kent County, Michigan, where the crimes took place, has a circuit court website that charges the public money. If I wanted to pay the money to use the site, I would have done so. Michigan is among a handful of states whose officials routinely chisel people who try to check the public record.)

Apparently no one at school seemed to care or notice Chelekis the math teacher didn’t care that 14 was a number lower than the age of consent (and maybe 13 when he started using the girl).

I’m guessing the school district will not be paying any money to the girl’s family.

Back to Michigan State.

A 1/12/2018 Breitbart article by Tom Ciccotta said this:

“An event at Michigan State University scheduled for Friday that offered students the opportunity to make their own dildos has been postponed.

An event scheduled for Friday evening at Michigan State University has been rescheduled for unknown reasons.

“Try your hand at some sexual-health-based trivia and have the chance to win sexy prizes including body chocolate and ‘fun’ toys,” an advertisement for the event read. “Even make your own external and internal stimulation devices (i.e., dildos)! Free for your pleasure will be condoms in a variety of sizes, dental dams, cookies and more (while supplies last)!”

Michigan State University announced in a tweet that “upon review” of the program, it would be rescheduled for a later date.”

The event, by the way, was called, “Condoms, Cookies and Consent.”

In the wake of the Larry Nassar and Michigan State sex crime scandal, perhaps Sparty should permanently cancel this party.

Excrement like is part of the reason college tuitions are so, errr, inflated.

Colleges besides Michigan State aren’t exempt from pervs, either.

Those who hired Shirley Collado to be the president of Ithaca College in New York flunked HR101. They hired a woman who is a perv convict. Maybe they didn’t check her criminal background. Or maybe it excited some of them.

According to Lucia Suarez Sang of Fox News 1/17/2018, multiple sources said Shirley Collado, the new college president, did the following:

“Collado, who worked at The Center at the Psychiatric Institute of Washington in D.C. at the time, was accused of having a five-month sexual relationship with a female patient who was undergoing therapy for post-traumatic stress in 2000.

The victim claimed they entered a sexual relationship after Collado kissed her and said these actions – which included fondling and kissing – would be “therapeutic for the victim; that it would bring her out of her shell,” the Government’s Memorandum in Aid of Sentencing said during the case, according to the Hustler.

(Note: The Hustler is a college paper at Vanderbilt, not the skin rag published by Larry Flynt. Supposedly Ms. Collado talked the female mental patient into moving in with her after Ms. Collado’s husband committed suicide. Could he have been depressed he married a switch-hitter?)

Collado was convicted of one count of misdemeanor sexual abuse in August 2001 after pleading no contest. She received a 30-day suspension, 18 months of supervised probation, and 80 hours of community service. She was also force to pay a $250 fine and ordered to stay away from the patient.

(Why? Shirley you jest. It is illegal for a college guy to enter a drunk coed while she is passed out. It is also illegal for a shrink facility agent to stalk and take sexual advantage of a mental patient.)

Collado insists she is innocent, even though she pleaded no contest.

“Recently, I learned that an anonymous source has been circulating misleading information to other colleges and universities and their news outlets about a traumatic time in my like that took place almost 20 years ago,” she wrote in a statement on the college’s website released to students Tuesday.”

(The only trauma you suffered, Shirley, is when the mental patient became lucid enough to cut you off.)

Believe it or not, Ithaca College trustees knew about her sex offense conviction when they hired her in June 2017, according to the article. They were okay with her. This puts the Ithaca College student newspaper people who outed her as a stalker and a predator in harm’s way. Plus, since Shirley Collado likes lesbian sex, the student newspaper people will never get jobs in the lunatic mainstream media.

Shirley Collado is also a trustee at Vanderbilt University, where she went to school. School officials claimed they were unaware of Shirley’s past as a sexual predator until she became Ithaca College’s president. But they said it wouldn’t affect her status as a trustee.

Ironically, per Ms. Lucia, “Following the conviction, Collado went on to hold administrative roles at several higher education institutions, including serving as vice president of Student Affairs and dean of Middlebury College until 2014, where she was responsible for developing sexual misconduct and judicial policies, the Hustler reported.”

The lesson here? College newspaper students at Ithaca College and at Vanderbilt sniffed out the truth using the public record. And the alleged adults at both schools, who are responsible for the confiscatory tuition they charge, couldn’t care less.

And on a lighter note, an alleged psychiatrist who called President Trump crazy and in need of forced analysis does not have a valid medical license in the state where she teaches.

Bandy Lee, not wearing a tin foil hat in the picture

Per World Net Daily, 1/15/2018, comes this:

“Bandy Lee, an assistant professor in forensic psychiatry at the Yale School of Medicine and author of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” says she briefed Democrats and one Republican on Trump’s mental health status on Dec. 5 and 6.

“It would be hard to find a single psychiatrist, no matter of what political affiliation, who could confidently say Trump is not dangerous,” she said. “I am sure there are some who feel unsure, or feel that they don’t have enough information or the expertise, and that is fine, since not everyone has devoted her 20-year career to studying, predicting, and preventing violence like I have. (A touch narcissistic, perhaps?) But there has not been a single serious mental health expert who disagrees on the medical side.”

Ms. Lee suggested a forceful evaluation, but she warned it could “really look like a coup.”

“Surprisingly, many lawyer groups have actually volunteered, on their own, to file for a court paper to ensure that the security staff will cooperate with us,” Ms Lee claimed. “But we have declined, since this will really look like a coup, and while we are trying to prevent violence, we don’t wish to incite it through, say, an insurrection.” (How noble of her.)

Lee said she has been discussing this scenario with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, and they “seem surprisingly OK” with what she had to say. (Delusions of grandeur, maybe?)

Since Lee’ statements were made public, the American Psychiatric Association released a statement urging psychiatrists to stop trying to evaluate Trump when they’ve never even examined him.

“We at the APA call for an end to psychiatrists providing professional opinions in the media about public figures whom they have not examined, whether it be on cable news appearances, books, or in social media,” the American Psychiatric Association’ statement said. “Arm-chair psychiatry or the use of psychiatry as a political tool is the misuse of psychiatry and is unacceptable and unethical.”

In other words, they were saying:

“Bandy, you’re a fine girl

What a good shrink you could be (such a fine shrink)

But don’t bandy stooge opinions on TV.”

In order to be a psychiatrist, one must be a licensed physician, do residency in psychiatric care, and pass a psychiatrist exam for credentialing.

How well did Bandy do?

The jury is out. Per the article:

“Lee’s “physician/surgeon” license in Connecticut expired on May 31, 2015, Campus Reform (a conservative cause group) reported. Her reinstatement application has been “pending” for more than two years. Campus Reform also noted that Lee’s “controlled substance registration for practitioner” license “lapsed,” expiring in February 2017.

When the site questioned Lee about the licenses, she replied: “I need only one license.”

“She has yet to elaborate on precisely which license that is, and, according to the state in which she resides, she allegedly has none,” reported Campus Reform.”

I checked the Connecticut license verification website. Yale, where Ms. Lee teaches, is in the Nutmeg State. It noted Ms. Lee let her Connecticut physician license lapse in 2015.

I also checked to see where else Ms. Lee might practice, quack, or malpractice.

The Web listed her as working in Rego Park, New York. I checked the New York license verification website and found Ms. Lee does have a New York physician license (No. 219444) thru April 2018. However, she does not have a psychotherapist permit in New York that the verification website would list. On the website, her license does not specify that she completed the residency and passed the exam needed to be a psychiatrist. It is possible her credentials are okay, but the New York physician license verification website is simply not detailed enough to show them.

Ms. Lee’s ad or info on www.healthcare4ppl.com, dated 2015, says she works in Rego Park, Queens, New York.

It says she has “20+ years of diverse experiences.” I’ll bet.

It notes she is a sole proprietor and “Yes – She owns an unincorporated business by herself.”

Does she accept Medicare? “She does accept the payment amount Medicare approves and not to bill you for more than the Medicare deductible and coinsurance.” That’s nice to know.

The ad says her medical specialty is “PSYCHIATRY.” It says she is a “Doctor of Medicine (MD).”

It says, “Dr. Bandy Lee attended to [sic] Yale University School Of Medicine and then graduated in 1998. It also says, “Dr. Bandy Lee has primarily specialised [sic} in Psychiatry for over 20 years.”

The website claims her specialty license is in “Psychiatry & Neurology / Psychiatry” and the number is “219444” for New York.

Where is her practice? “Practice Location 9801 67th Ave Apt 3b Rego Park, New York 11374-4968”

The ad website says, “Dr. Bandy Lee is a Psychiatry Specialist in Rego Park, New York. She graduated with honors from Yale University School Of Medicine in 1998. Having more than 20 years of diverse experiences, especially in PSYCHIATRY, Dr. Bandy Lee affiliates with no hospital, and cooperates with other doctors and specialists without joining any medical groups. Call Dr. Bandy Lee on phone number (917) 328-2492 for more information and advice or to book an appointment.”

There you have it. A woman says she has more than 20 years as a shrink 17 years after she graduated from med school. She has no hospital affiliations (does she have any admitting privileges?) and is in no medical group. She operates out of an apartment, yet she does not have a psychotherapist permit in New York that the verification site would list.

It may be illegal for Ms. Lee to practice or teach in Connecticut without a physician license and psychiatrist credentialing. It may also be illegal for Ms. Lee to conduct her practice the way she does in Queens. I’ll leave those questions up to licensing personnel in both states. If any part of her practice or teaching is out of bounds due to her license issues and the way she practices, then for blabbing about President Trump and conducting meetings with other tin foil hat-wearing members of Congress to force a sanity hearing on him marks her as more than a bit cuckoo.

The Campus Reform people put Ms. Lee back on her tail by checking the on-line public records on her in Connecticut. They could have done a better job. I found her New York license, and an ad she allowed about her practice. Maybe the attention she called upon herself may lead Connecticut authorities and New York authorities to fine her or tax her or assess her.

Being nuts, a liar, or a sociopath won’t hurt Ms. Lee with Yale. After all, the Clintons, John Kerry, and three generations of Bushes went there.

Once more with feeling:

School personnel lie to protect their own.

They really don’t care about your children’s welfare.

You must be your children’s protectors and first responders.

You will have to spend more time checking on those who claim to educate your children.

As St. Francis de Sales would say, “Pray as if it all depends upon God. Work as if it all depends upon you.”
